9 October 2010 - The Scotland and North of England Dinner
The Scotland & North of England Dinner will be held this year on Saturday 9th October 2010 at the Royal Scots Club, Edinburgh, 6.45 for 7.30pm. It will be arranged again by Adrian Hayes, (1970-77) who may be contacted by e-mail through oldderbeians@googlemail.com putting Edinburgh Dinner in the subject line.Further details will be posted on the web site later in the year.

Refreshments will be available at The Flowerpot public house, King Street,
immediately following the service.
Convenient car parking is available in the almost adjacent multi-storey car
park in Chapel Street.
In 2010 these anniversaries are significant:14 November 2010 - Old Derbeians Remembrance Service
The Society's annual Remembrance Service will be held at the War Memorial in
front of St Helen's House on Sunday 14th November 2010. The Service will
commence at 11.00 am.
Organise Your Year Reunion
Why not organise a reunion of your year? It is great experience to meet up with
classmates you may not have seen since you were in the upper fifth or sixth
forms.
1950 Year - sixty years since commencing at Derby School
1960 Year - fifty years since commencing at Derby School
1970 Year - forty years since commencing at Derby School
2000 Year - ten years since commencing at Derby Grammar School.
